Can SharePoint 2010 be Installed on Windows 7 ?

For development purposes SharePoint 2010 (both the full version and SharePoint Foundation) can be installed on Windows 7 and Windows Vista, but both OSs must be the 64 bit version. In addition a hotfix is required to be installed prior to SharePoint’s  installation, see the full details here .
